A CAREER QUESTION IS A LIVE MATERIAL
Gomelatu is a career coaching and mentoring practice for people who want to make a professional question more workable. We start with the situation around your work—not a prescribed personality type or a promise about where you should end up.

02 / THE STARTING SIGNAL
Identify the recurring situation, tension or curiosity beneath the urgent answer you may feel pressed to give.
Put evidence beside assumption: responsibilities, conditions, skills, relationships and trade-offs already present.
Choose a conversation, observation or bounded experiment that can make the next decision more informed.

03 / ROUTE LEDGER
Past roles contain more than titles. They hold examples of the problems you helped frame, the people who relied on you, the pace you sustained and the work you would like to meet again in a different setting.
Gomelatu offers a reflective coaching and mentoring format. It is not recruitment, job placement, legal, medical, financial or mental-health advice.
Open the route cards04 / ROUTE CARDS
Each route gives an early conversation a different centre of gravity. Select one to see the kind of material it can hold.
ROLE READING
A role reading is useful when your work has changed shape or the language around it no longer describes what you contribute. We can look at responsibilities, boundaries, collaborators and the difference between an inherited label and the work that is actually happening.
05 / FRICTION BOARD
Friction can be useful information. It may point to a missing boundary, an unclear expectation, a mismatch in conditions or a professional capacity that has not been recognised.

What responsibility has expanded without becoming visible or negotiable?
Which part of a week takes more from you than it gives back?
What do people already ask you for that a title does not explain?
What has been decided by default because nobody paused to name another option?
06 / CONDITIONS RAIL
Career choices are often described as personal preferences. They are also practical arrangements. A useful coaching conversation can make the conditions for concentrated, sustainable work visible enough to discuss, protect or test.
What rhythm lets you do careful work without treating permanent urgency as a standard?
What information, access or relationship makes a decision understandable before you need to act?
What kind of feedback, collaboration or independent time helps your contribution become more useful?

07 / FIELDWORK, NOT HOMEWORK
Fieldwork is deliberately proportionate. It is not a demand to transform your career in a week. It is one bounded action that gives a question something more reliable than speculation.

08 / PRACTICE TABLE
Mentoring can help turn a private thought into a conversation you can use with a manager, collaborator, adviser or peer. The point is not to outsource your choice. It is to make the reasoning around it more legible.

09 / A FUTURE SELF IS NOT A FIXED PERSON
A professional identity can be steady without being narrow. We can name skills, preferences and working ethics without treating them as a fixed script for every future role.

10 / ONE-WEEK MAP
Use a week to notice rather than decide. The three prompts below can help turn an ongoing workday into material for a later conversation.
When did you make a task clearer, lighter or more possible for someone else?
What was present when you could concentrate, contribute or recover well?
What do you want to ask another person before assuming you know their work?
11 / QUESTIONS WORTH ASKING
These answers describe the public practice and its boundaries. Any paid work, if suitable, is discussed separately and confirmed in writing.
12 / CONTACT FIELD NOTE
Share a short, non-confidential description of the professional question you want to understand. This is an enquiry only: no payment is collected, no booking is created and no message is sent automatically.
